Heidi, The Daughter Of The Mountains
קרן דוידוף - עיבוד למחזה מחול
Heidi is an orphaned girl full of joy, curiosity, and courage. She goes to live with her grandfather, a grumpy man who does not speak to anyone, in a small cabin at the top of the Alps, where she befriends a goat herder boy named Peter.
The little Heidi completely transforms the lives of her grandfather and Peter, and they spend their days together, happy and content.
One day, Heidi’s aunt arrives and takes her to Frankfurt to live in the luxurious home of a wealthy family, who are looking for a girl to keep their daughter Clara, who is confined to a wheelchair, company.
Soon, a deep and special friendship develops between the two girls, but despite this, Heidi’s longing for her grandfather, Peter, and the mountains gives her no peace, and she yearns to return to them.
Heidi’s story is one of friendship and loyalty, nature and freedom, the power of love, and, above all, the ability to see the good in every person and situation. Thanks to this, Heidi is able to experience great happiness and true love, despite all the challenges she faces.
The famous and touching story by Johanna Spyri, which became one of the classics of world children’s literature, is reimagined in a magnificent and magical dance theater performance.
