Sivan Cohen
Born in Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk. Began to dance in Ga’aton Dance Studio where she was a student of Yehudit Arnon. Awarded scholarships for dance excellence by America-Israel Cultural Foundation and received the Yair Shapira Award as performing artist on two separate occasions.
Joined KCDC as a dancer at the age of 18 where she danced for 14 years as a lead dancer in Yehudit Arnon’s repertory company and afterwards under the artistic direction of Rami Be’er.
Sivan has worked besides Rami Be’er for many years and today she is responsible for managing the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton, the KCDC staff, along with overseeing varied projects and programs at KCDC year-round.
In recent years, alongside her work with the company, Sivan—well known for her deep love of animals—has pursued an additional profession and now also works as a veterinary nurse at a veterinary clinic
