She proves that family is the most precious thing in the world.
The Little Mermaid is willing to do anything, even to risk leaving her familiar surroundings and move into a new, different, strange and sometimes dangerous new world.
In exchange for her courage, determination and love, she is rewarded with love and with the monarchy.
