An Evening of Movement & Magic
As part of the Western Galilee Now Winter Festival, a unique collaboration brings together KCDC 2, the second company of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and The Collective, a multidisciplinary group of artists based in Kibbutz Ga’aton.
The Evening’s Program
19:30 | Welcome Reception
Gather at the company’s gallery, located at the entrance to Zichri Hall, for a warm drink and a traditional Hanukkah doughnut (sufganiyah).

21:00 | An Experience of Movement & Light with The Collective
Immediately following the performance, audiences are invited to join the Ga’aton Artists Collective for an immersive experience of movement and light.
A unique somatic journey exploring presence and natural movement within our personal and shared spaces. Throughout the experience, living artistic light installations created by members of the Ga’aton Artists Collective will move through the space, creating an evolving encounter between light, movement, and the audience.
You are welcome to take an active part or simply observe, feel, and immerse yourself in the experience at your own pace.
21:45 | Guided Tour of the International Dance Village
Discover the fascinating story of the International Dance Village and Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, one of Israel’s leading contemporary dance companies, recognized internationally for its artistic excellence. The tour includes a moving film about Yehudit Arnon, the company’s founder.

About The Collective | Ga’aton Artists
The Collective is a multidisciplinary group of artists from Kibbutz Ga’aton who came together during the dark period surrounding October 7.
Working across artistic disciplines, they are united by a shared creative vision and the hope of bringing light into the darkness.
