Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A), holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Haifa.
Brings 25 years of experience in financial management and accounting in leading industrial companies.
Expert in securing grants, working with government bodies and funding foundations, managing budgets and cash flow, preparing reports and presentations for the board of directors, and leading strategic processes within organizations.

She joined the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in February 2025, driven by her passion for the arts, creative expression, and the mission of advancing dance culture. Partner to Roni and mother to Itai and Noa, she is excited to be part of the company’s unique community and contribute to its continued growth and success

Born in Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk. Began to dance in Ga’aton Dance Studio where she was a student of Yehudit Arnon. Awarded scholarships for dance excellence by America-Israel Cultural Foundation and received the Yair Shapira Award as performing artist on two separate occasions.

Joined KCDC as a dancer at the age of 18 where she danced for 14 years as a lead dancer in Yehudit Arnon’s repertory company and afterwards under the artistic direction of Rami Be’er.

Sivan has worked besides Rami Be’er for many years and today she is responsible for managing the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton, the KCDC staff, along with overseeing varied projects and programs at KCDC year-round.

Liraz has extensive experience managing large-scale service and sales operations. Over the years, she developed broad business acumen and communication skills that enable her to lead complex projects.

Resides in Kibbutz Ga’aton with her two daughters and is deeply passionate about dance.

For a decade, she co-owned and managed “Café in Motion” at the International Dance Village, where she led its business and community activities and became closely familiar with the company’s work.

Liraz currently manages the sales and marketing department of the company. Within her responsibilities, she is also in charge of overseeing and selling KCDC’s performances in Israel, strengthening relationships and creating collaborations with cultural managers and institutions across the country, managing the company’s social media and website, overseeing and producing all marketing materials of the company, leading educational projects aimed at exposing dance culture and the company’s activities to school students nationwide and more.

Liraz brings a professional and creative approach, grounded in a deep understanding of the cultural landscape and Israeli audience. Alongside her work, she is also a multidisciplinary therapist specializing in bodywork and movement-based healing.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, and currently based in Haarlem, The Netherlands, Yoni Avital is a multifaceted Performing Artist, Arts Manager, and the founder of Avital Arts Agency, a prominent performing arts management firm based in The Netherlands. Yoni is the leader and lead singer of The Shuk Music Group, one of the premier Jewish and Israeli music groups based in New York City and Tel Aviv. Yoni founded and manages the group, which performs Jewish Roots and Israeli world music on stages at theaters, festivals, and private events worldwide, bringing diverse cultures together through music.

 

Yoni oversees the international marketing and operations of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC), one of Israel’s leading contemporary dance companies. His work encompasses managing the main company’s performances and tours around the globe, as well as spearheading international public relations, social media, and website management. Yoni is also responsible for promoting KCDC’s signature educational programs, including the internationally renowned 5-month Dance Journey study abroad program and the Kibbutz Summer Intensive, which takes place annually at the company’s home at the International Dance Village in Israel

In addition to his marketing and operational responsibilities, Yoni oversees KCDC’s international fundraising and resource development efforts. He works to ensure the company’s endeavors in bringing elite contemporary dance to audiences worldwide, providing support for young and aspiring dancers through scholarships to seek professional dance education in KCDC’s international dance programs, and sustaining the operations and development of all the company’s programming and activities at the International Dance Village and across Israel

Yoni holds a B.A. in Clinical Psychology and Music from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and an MBA from Haifa University’s International Executive MBA program. His passion for dance was ignited by his wife, Dorry Aben, a former KCDC company dancer and now a naturalistic therapist. Before relocating to The Netherlands, Yoni’s life journey included growing up in a moshav (agricultural village) in central Israel, living in Brooklyn, and spending several transformative years at the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton, Israel, which is home to Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company

Driven by a profound belief in the power of the performing arts to unite people from all walks of life, Yoni is committed to using dance, music, and education as a means of bridging divides and fostering understanding in today’s increasingly polarized world. His work as both a performing artist and as an international arts manager reflects this vision and underscores his dedication to bringing people together through the transformative power of performance.

Married to David, mother of Tamir Alon and Noa.
Education – B.A. in Educational Counseling and Political Science from the University of Haifa.
Courses – Human Resources Manager, Personal Coaching for individuals with ADHD.
She began her journey with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in 2010 as the manager of the International Summer Courses.
The Summer Courses are unique to the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, combining life in the Dance village alongside the professional dancers of the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company.

Holds a Bachelor’s in Education and Fine Arts. Graduate of Kibbutzim College’s Creative Education Program and has extensive experience in the field of production and marketing.

Her professional career began with Promarket‘s experiential marketing team. Was the Marketing Executive of the business sector of Diesenhaus.

Ayelet joined KCDC in 2010 with a deep sense, a mission, and a love for such a dance company and extraordinary project and with a desire to expose as many people from all walks of life to experience the powerful and moving encounter with dance and with KCDC’s company dancers. Ayelet has developed and promoted the tourism sector of KCDC in order to expose the public in Israel and from across the world to come and get a personal taste of the fascinating world of dance at the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton.

Roni was born and raised in Kibbutz Ga’aton, surrounded by lush greenery, blooming nature, and a vibrant artistic environment.

Roni began her journey with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in 2008.

As a Ga’aton resident, she was responsible for fostering the connection between the kibbutz and the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company.

In 2009, Roni continued her path with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company as the Administrative Director of its International Dance Journey programs and the DancePro  program.

Roni holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked in this field for several years and also managed fashion retail chains.

Born on Kibbutz Gesher Haziv in Northern Israel and now living in Haifa.

Long experience in the educational fields with children, youth, and adults with disabilities. All include diverse activities, trips, and vacations.

BA degree in Education – Taught Phys ED for 7 years in the local schools in Gesher Haziv, elementary school, and a high school teaching and organizing sports events.

Lived in Philadelphia, USA for ten years where he started working as the Leisure time activities Director for Adults with disabilities.

Received master’s degree in human services at Lincoln University, PA. The USA.

After returning to Israel, he worked for 16 years as the Leisure time activities director for adults with developmental disabilities.

In the last 11 years working as the educational and social guide of the International Dance Journey programs, part of the Masa Israel programs in Israel.

In the last nine years, he is a Tour guide for English-speaking tourists and local school students all ages.

I love sharing my love of Israel and the beauty of the country.
