U.S. Tour
We are thrilled to be touring the USA with one of our newest performances by Artistic Director Rami Be’er, ‘Horses in the Sky.’ What makes this tour even more thrilling, is that we’ll be holding auditions simultaneously during our time in the USA; enabling emerging young dancers to showcase their talent and to be considered to come live and study with us at our pre-professional Dance Journey study abroad program in Israel.
‘Horses in the Sky’ which first premiered at the Sydney Opera House, will be performed across the country at the Irvine Barclay Theater in Irvine, California, the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center in Miami, Florida, the Miller Outdoor Theater in Houston, Texas, at the new Byers Theatre in the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center in Sandy Springs, Georgia and the Lied Center for Performing Arts, in Lawrence, Kansas.
This captivating performance is ‘vibrant yet moody and engulfs the viewer with a collection of KCDC androgynous dancers clad in minimal cream costuming’ according to the – The Sydney Morning Herald. ‘In his highly immersive work, Be’er invites the audience to find their own interpretation on his ‘reflections of the world’ via the perfect combination of choreography, music and lighting. It’s a performance to remember.’
Auditions in the U.S. for our International Pre-Professional Study Abroad Program
During the tour, auditions will be held for aspiring pre-professional dancers who wish to take part in our 5-month and 10-month pre-professional Dance Journey study abroad program for the upcoming academic year. This audition process allows potential dancers to showcase their talents in an intimate studio audition led by our main company dancers.
