Dancing Through Life

From the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum to the International Dance Village – embark on a powerful and unforgettable day in the Western Galilee that weaves together history, resilience, and the human spirit’s boundless capacity to overcome and transform reality.

We begin our journey at the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum, dedicated to the legacy of the Holocaust and the resistance. Founded by Holocaust survivors, the museum tells the story of human courage and moral choices in the face of immense adversity, highlighting the triumph of the human spirit and the rebuilding of life in Israel.
Visitors will encounter inspiring stories of strength and perseverance, explore moving exhibitions, and end with a musical journey tracing the evolution of the Jewish lullaby from the diaspora to the rebirth of Israel.
After a midday break, we continue to the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton, home to the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and a vibrant community where over 120 dancers from around the world live, train, and create. You’ll get an exclusive look behind the scenes, hear the remarkable story of how the company grew to become a leading cultural ambassador for Israel, and learn about its founder, Yehudit Arnon, who vowed in Auschwitz that if she survived, she would dedicate her life to dance.

The day concludes with an inspiring encounter with the dancers, where participants are invited to join them in movement and truly embody the spirit of “Dancing Through Life.”
