The Miller‘s Daughter
Uri Omnoti & Matan Zur
An optimistic and magical dance and theater performance for the whole family. Written by Uri Omenati and Matan Tzur, produced by the Kibbutz Theater in collaboration with the Kibbutz Dance Company.
The Miller’s Daughter, poor but kind-hearted, helps her elderly father run the old mill. When the spoiled and extravagant prince wants to imprison him for debts to the palace, his daughter comes to his aid and even claims she can spin straw into gold. In reality, she cannot do this and finds herself in a predicament. How will she solve the problem? The Miller’s Daughter discovers that if you don’t lose hope, the situation can always change for the better.
A story about courage, humility versus greed, contentment with little, recognizing the value of friendship, helping others, and believing in the positive change that can happen in people.
