Tuvia’s Story

Idan Amit

A dance theater performance inspired by the immortal story of Sholem Aleichem, which describes a historical reality in which many Jews were forced to abandon their homes due to pogroms and expulsion and to emigrate to distant lands. The performance offers a one-time glimpse into the world of Tevye and his daughters in the distant Jewish village.

Tevye’s story has been adapted many times in cinema and theater, the most famous of which is Fiddler on the Roof.
