Lotem Regev
Movement Director, Choreographer, and Dancer
Born and raised in the Western Galilee, Lotem began his professional journey at the age of 19 as a dancer with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company’s Second Company (KCDC 2) and its main company.
He later danced with the Batsheva Ensemble and the Gothenburg Opera Dance Company in Sweden.
In 2014, Lotem embarked on his career as a choreographer. Since then, he has created and presented dance works and movement performances for companies, theaters, museums, academies, and festivals in Israel, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia, the United States, Italy, Denmark, Russia, Uganda, and Portugal.
Throughout his career, Lotem has held various positions in the field of contemporary dance, including:
Artistic Director of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company’s international Dance Journey study abroad program
Rehearsal Director for the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Dance Workshop
Member of the Artistic Team at Fresco Dance Company
In September 2023, Lotem returned home to Kibbutz Ga’aton when he was appointed Co-Director of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company’s Second Company (KCDC 2).
