A graduate of the Dance Academy in Budapest, Hungary and former soloist in Győr Ballet and principal dancer at The Israel Ballet.
Maté is an international guest teacher and one of the most sought after ballet teachers in Israel. He’s a ballet master at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, artistic director of the “Curtain Up” project by the Ministry if Culture and artistic advisor of the dance series of the Israeli Opera where he also served as the Director of ‘The Project’ in cooperation with The Suzanne Dellal Center.
Former Artistic Director of The Israeli Ballet and currently serves as producer, consultant, and member of various professional committees.
